About

I spent eleven years implementing other people's software. Now I'm building the one I wish I'd had.

For eleven years I was a Sage Intacct implementer: 150+ implementations, 50+ integrations, a practice to run and a 26-person delivery team to lead. Some nights I'd finish client calls at five, then do data migration and tie-out by hand until ten or eleven. I told myself that was just the job.

Then a construction client was sold a billing method the software couldn't actually do. We spent months implementing it anyway, and at go-live they were running the same manual workaround as before — just paying more to do it in prettier software.

That's not an implementation. That's a repaint job on a leaking roof.

I looked at other platforms. Every one was the same promise in a different font, and I couldn't keep selling something I didn't believe in.

Then someone asked, "Want to come help us build an ERP?" I said yes. Today Silver Moon Tech is a founding development partner on Horizon — the system I wish I'd had for every one of those 150 clients. I run my own business on it, and I implement it for yours with the same accountant's eye for books that tie out on day one.
